MM have you ever visited Venice? I have twice and my two visits I had perfect weather.

But it was only a matter of time that this would happen Venice.

I have visited Venice, yes. It was September during my visit and it was very hot. A friend of mine left for Venice last Friday for the long weekend, already having bought his non-refundable tickets. I haven't talked to him yet to find out if he was "washed out" when he arrived or not.

FYI for the Anthony Bourdain fans. On January 12, the Travel Channel on Cable TV, one of Season Five shows will be on Venice.

I am shocked that Tony would Venice as everyone knows Venice is overrun with tourists and Anthony will be bad mouthing them. But I do wonder what is he going to find in Venice besides the tourists?

The January 12 date is for New York City. For those that live in other locations in the US, you will have to find when the Travel Channel on Cable TV will air the show.
