I stopped in Montevideo on the way home from Buenos Aires. I expected the same surly service and attitude in restaurants I got in BA but was very much surprised. There was more care and a more informal attitude. Now this was before the peso crisis. However I widh I had allowed for more time. I think you will enjoy
