It was announced this afternoon that Michael Viscardi was the winner of a $100,000 scholarship for science. Michael was home schooled. The winners for team entrants were all from Arizona schools in the northeast part of the Phoenix Metro area. Let's give a big hand to all four of these fine young people.

I certainly applaud them DD,

But I regret that they missed out on some of the finer education of public school, such as, first-hand experience with drugs, alternate lifestyles and socialism. How are they ever going to survive?

It was only the one that took first place that was home schooled. The others that were in the team were from a high end school in the northwest part of the valley. The one from Phoenix Day school is a rather exclusive school.
