Anyone been there? We are looking into this hotel for March 07.

I was there about five years ago with a group of students. The location was great and the rooms were spacious and newly renovated. We had a nice big breakfast every day and I remember enjoying my stay there. Probably the only annoying thing was the elevator situation. There were only two elevators, so when there was a big group of us checking in with all our bags it was really slow.

So, unless it's deteriorated in the past five years, I'd recommend it. Again, the location was fantastic.

Yep....I stayed there 1 1/2 yrs ago. Loved the place! Well the truth is I love to stay on Gran Via. Before the hotel Gaudi, I stayed a couple of times at the Tryp Hotels on the Gran Via. I liked these hotels but Gaudi is definitely a step up. It is a perfect location to walk to Puerta del Sol, Retiro, El Prado, and Plaza Mayor. Enjoy!!!!
