Hi everyone
Anyone know of any hostals near Plaza del Colon or that would be v. easy to get to from airport. Havin real difficulty finding somewhere.
Don't really want to be wandering round with all my stuff makin an easy target.
On the upside I leave on Wednesday!

Colon is easy to get to from the airport but I find it to close to the financial center
of Madrid, that is, expensive hotels. Besides it is walking distance from the city center-->Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor.
As for been (being?) a target I would not worry so much, Madrid is statistically safer than Copenhagen.
