Review: Stayed together with my "better half" at Hostal Orleans in La Ribera for 8 nights in September. Superb location,right opposite the old railway station Estació Franca, only a short walk to the beach and right on the edge of the Old Town. Could actually see the heart of El Born, Passeig del Born, from our balcony. A few steps to, was it 43?-up to the reception, ok, but that won`t do anybody any harm. Good,surprisingly spacious double room with a good bed, everything clean and tidy. Staff was overall friendly and helpful, lacking though knowledge of the English language. Prize was 51 Euro a night. We will definitely stay there again. Recommended!

Ps: -and when visiting Barcelona,don`t miss out on a trip to the mountain of Tibidabo!
