Does this Soho Studios have a website? If so, please give it to us so we can check out the actual location (if listed) in Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas.

Oftentimes websites will say, for example, they're located IN "the Gothic Quarter" when in fact they're in El Raval.

Both locations are within the tourist area. Las Ramblas can be maddeningly loud, busy, traffic, just crazy. The Gothic Quarter can be MUCH quieter - assuming it's not located near a nightclub - but can be a bit less secure if in a smaller, narrower, darker street.

Hey Coro,

The area is logistically great and within walking distance to everything. But it seems to be close to George Orwell Plaza, which at night is full of junkies all the way down Carrer Avinyo. Barcelona is like Jeckyll and Hide, one thing by day and quite another by night. I'd say it's ok to stay there around that area if you're traveling with a companion.
