Hi! Can anyone recommend a cute inexpensive hotel in Toledo? I'm not sure where to stay! I would like to spend one night outside of Madrid and thought this would be a good destination. Thanks....Karen

I've stayed in the hotel Imperio as well (summer 2004), only bad thing was that they didn't have secure internet booking, but wanted my credit card number in a mail to take my booking... We solved it, I sent it by fax instead, but anyway.

The place itself was great.

I stayed at the Hotel Imperio last September. Room 301 (top floor) has great views. Highly recommended. I think Frommers have a review.

PS:
I sent my card details as words: uno, dos, tres cuatro... (with the expiry date in another email). I'm probably wrong, but it might be slightly less hackable than sending a list of numbers.
