It is a taxi ride from the airport. I do not know of public transportation from the airport to the center. Once at the hostal, you have a bus stop, taxi stop and train stop walking distance for the first two. Also the cathedral, the Plaza and all the enchanting sorroundings are 5 minutes walking.
