Through recommendations on MadridMan four ladies booked the large apartment with Hostal Jaén in May 2003. It's a great place if four or five guests want to stay together. The rooms are very clean and accommodations more than adequate. The location worked out well - within walking distance (10-15 minutes) to center of Madrid and many good restaurants and/or tapas close by. Calle Cervantes is a quiet street between two main busy streets. The only negative is neither Mr. or Mrs speak English, however a son available in late afternoon speaks enough to have questions answered. Lots of good information on MadridMan - keep up the good work.
