Hello-

Along with one other person, I am planning to travel to Valencia during Las Fallas festival in March. We are hoping to stay in the city for the last two nights of the festival, March 18 & 19. However, we've called almost every hostal listed in Let's Go and the Rough Guide and all are booked solid. Does anyone have any ideas for other places to stay in Valencia, perhaps that are more off the beaten path and not yet fully booked?

A Spanish friend of whom I asked the same question suggested booking at Gandia, one of the nearby beach towns that are now off season. This may only work if you have a car. I don't know if public transportation from Valencia runs after midnight on those days.
