Not many hotels available in Barcelona for Dec. 30 and 31.
Anybody ever stay at Hotel Turin? ... which MAY have an opening if their computer comes back up.

Have a choice on Dec. 29 between Husa Sofia (farther out) and Nunez d'Urgell (in Diagonal area) using bancotel checks.

Is it safe to walk from Nunez d'Urgell to Barrio Gotic, Eixample? How about at night?
For New Year's Eve we'd like to try avoiding taking cabs or public transportation. Any ideas? I feel like I've tried every hotel. My price range is up to $180. Thanks.
