Just back from a top weekend in Madrid.Checked out availability at a number of places but sometimes you can have too much choice and we couldnt make a final decision,so we just headed for our first choice place Hotel Santander on c/de Echegaray to have a look round.Got a very nice double with bathroom for 54 euros,for which they wanted 60 euros when we enquired by fax.Result,a nice little discount and not having to worry about leaving credit card info with places you have no knowledge of.
