How long are you looking to stay and how much are you willing to pay? There is an english magazine here in spain called InMadrid and they have all kinds of listings for people wanting only a room but no other facilities or looking for an apartment share.Here is their web site http://www.in-madrid.com
If you are looking to share an apartment near the city center expect to pay about 350 or more a month not including utilites.
