I am moving to Madrid finally!

I am a, 28 years old, French, MBA student looking for a room in Madrid. I am a non-smoker but I do not mind other people's smoke. I will be in Madrid next week (early sep. 2002) and I would like to visit apartements. I am planning to stay 6 to 12 months. I would like to be in Madrid and if possible not to far from San Bernardo. What would make me happy is a clean place with washing machine and friendly people and a furnished room. Internet and/or private bathroom would be the ultimate luxury My budget is roughly 350 €, but if you have something costlier that is worth it let me know.
