Does anyone know if it is possible to rent wheelchairs while visiting Madrid (and other parts Spain)?

Are the typical tourist places accessible?

I can walk but get tired easily. I would probably enjoy wandering the Prado for instance if when I got tired I could sit down and have my husband push me.

I have been to Spain many years ago and was able to walk everywhere. NOw I am afraid I won't be able to. I want to be able to wander the small neighborhoods where tourist don't go and also see the touristy parts again too.

Any suggestions?

I think you'll find that Spain is less wheelchair-accessible than many places. Although they are improving many areas, there is still some progress to be made.
