MM, I didn't realize something was going on in the board this morning ... please accept my apologies!!! I have been really out of it since I got sick and haven't checked the board since before xmas.

This joke was sent to me from a friend in Madrid and I read it this morning. I didn't read anything into the "spiks" because he sent it to me ... but that's definitely not OK usage here in the US ...

And to think that my husband is at this very moment in time taking himself to a 3 hour Spanish language course that he has paid for! Who needs it?

I too have been out all day and now I'm intrigued as to the problems on the board this morning. Wasn't me! :p

Short Explanation about what happened this morning -- please don't follow-up with replies as this is totally OFF TOPIC and you all know how I feel about THAT! Anyway, we had ONE fool from England registered under TWO vulgar usernames and posted 40 NASTY, DIRTY, PROFANE and threads and replies to existing threads. I was warned by a couple of faithful message board users and I quickly (about 1.5 hours after they registered and posted the 40 messages) removed their usernames, deleted all their postings, and logged-and-tracked their IP address back to their origin in England. They're permanently banned from the message board, but sometimes we get crazies from time to time -- and those of us here who have been around awhile remember them -- and they're long gone as I'm hoping this one will be too. So please, don't comment on this event.. we don't need to give anyone new ideas.

I'm doing my best to keep the message board TIGHT, under close watch, and free from the juvenile CRAP we sometimes see on other public forums. I thank those who alerted me immediately. You all help me/us to enjoy the message board as a place where we can come to share our love & questions for/about Spain.

Back to the thread.... churrocaliente, don't worry about the "Fox Paws" (hehhehe...). These things happen from time to time in life.
