There's a football bar downtown somewhere I forget the name. Espn bar on times square has the games too, or maybe ask in Xunta or one of the tapas places where everyone goes.

I'd love to know where I can go in NYC to watch the game as well

I'm trying to decipher the schedules...so the game is at 2:30 am Friday night/Saturday morning?

Thanks!

I have no personal experience here, but Michael Davies in his World Cup Dairy gives the following information:

"I spend half my life watching football at Nevada Smith's, Clancy's and The Kinsale Tavern in New York City. However early, however late, however inconsequential the game, there's always a crowd."

I'll be watching the game from my own TV so I don't need to get up any earlier than 2:20 AM and I can return to bed at 4:30 or so. Actually, the US games have been so riveting that it's hard to go back to bed so soon after and I end up dozing off around 5:30 or 6:00 AM.

I actually live a block away from The Kinsale Tavern. Its a great place to see the game with a great crowd. kinsale is on 93rd/94th and 2nd avenue, awesome irish pub.

Try the murph-guide webpage. It's great webpage for ny bars. It'll have tons of good places.
