I have no personal experience here, but Michael Davies in his
World Cup Dairy gives the following information:
"I spend half my life watching football at Nevada Smith's, Clancy's and The Kinsale Tavern in New York City. However early, however late, however inconsequential the game, there's always a crowd."
I'll be watching the game from my own TV so I don't need to get up any earlier than 2:20 AM and I can return to bed at 4:30 or so. Actually, the US games have been so riveting that it's hard to go back to bed so soon after and I end up dozing off around 5:30 or 6:00 AM.
