Anyone out there know when the gay pride parade is in Madrid. We attended 4 years ago- what fun!

You're right, no need to be gay to enjoy some of the festivities! Last year we happened upon the pride parade and had a blast!!! Drinking peach sangria out of a thirsty-two ouncer from a street vendor, watching the over-the-top costumes and floats and just being in Madrid when there was a festive parade was definitely something to remember.
I'm so excited to be able to enjoy another one this year!
Only 6 more days and we'll be in Madrid!!! Yeah!!!

Hmmm.. Now I´m not so sure. From the above link(s) I can´t find a mention of the date for the Gay Pride Parade. It does say, however:

Fiestas del día del orgullo gay 2005 del 24 al 03 de Julio 2005.

And what´s "Mado SÁBADO 2 de julio de 2005"? Is "Mado" the parade? If so, we´ll definitely miss it. They mention the demonstration but I don´t know if that´s the same thing as the parade. Might be.

Could we get a confirmation on the parade date? Regardless, now, since there are some "health issues" in the family we may not be able to attend afterall. Depends on how things go.
