Wow. What a good time we all had last night with the good food (¡¡bocadillos de calamares!!), big mugs of beer, tintos de verano, etcetera. Most everyone showed up shortly after 8pm and most stayed until we left at 11:30pm when the bar was closing down. In total, there were 20-people in attendance, which is pretty good. I think we only had about 10 cancellations/no-shows which is better than normal. In fact, it was probably better as we practically took-over the terraza with our 5-tables pushed together. The good guys at El Brillante accommodated us well. In addition to the 4th of July, we were also celebrating MadridMan.com's 15-year anniversary so the gathering made it extra special.
