i'm continue to be baffled by the outward mourning of ETA members who die "in the line of duty."

for instance, this latest situation with the two ETA members who died while transporting illegal (hello!) explosives across to Spain from the French border... Which REAL Spaniards could have been murdered by those explosives if the ETA members had not mishandled them>???

public mourning held in Pais Vasco and "not a policeman to be found," says NPR reporters...

the spanish government simply cannot do anything about it! i lived in spain, as many of you have, and have witnessed the banter between the spanish government and the ETA for a long time... until the pais vasco is an autonomous state, the ETA will exist and cause harm to the inoccent.
