me and my friend will arrive to madrid in the night between sunday to monday at 12-1 a.m and we need to arrive to the hostel marssella in calle del pez street.
should we take the metro (to novicidado station)? is it safe in that hour?
or there is a safer and cheaper way?

Pizzipoo, Make sure that the metro is running at the hours which you will arrive in Madrid. I believe on Sundays that the metro closes earlier than usual. If the metro is closed, just fork out the extra $$ and take a taxi, it would be easier because you would arrive at the front door of your hostal/hotel.
