Spanish Cinema Now 2012 at Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater here in NY starts on Dec. 7. Can't wait!! I have been dying to see La Voz Dormida and it is part of the festival! Are there any other "must-see" movies?

Esperanza, when it is finished, can you give us a re-cap? It looks like a wide selection of films. Do they have subtitles for non-Spanish speakers?

I liked La Chispa de La Vida by Alex de La Iglesia excellent cast, didn't realize Jose Mota was a comedian until I saw him on Buenafuente. I don't think it was at any of the US Spanish film festivals or was it released in the US. The programming of these festivals not being done well. At least they aren't showing anything in the Torrente franchise. Would have liked to have seen AMADOR included, because I think Fernando Leon de Aranoa is Spain's best director. Otherwise pretty slim pickings in Spanish Cinema this year.
