We are four 'young at heart' travellers who want to rent an apartment June. What kind of area is Calle Conde de Miranda in? The apartment is opposite Plaza Conde de Miranda. Is it run down or noisy?

Without having seen the apartment, I would say it's a great area (and not an inexpensive one). You're just a stone's throw from so many attractions. Do you have photos of the apartment? There's a website where you can check out the buildings and the area...I can't remember the name but perhaps other board members can help you out. It might give you a better feel for the plaza and the general area.
Noise, unfortunately, is something that is hard to judge.
