The 5 of us has a good little gathering at the Cervecería La Plaza - which is what it's called. We were members: esperanza, marisa, jazz (and wife), and me. Our buddy steve robinson, unfortunately, couldn't make it nor could sallyanne. That's a shame. Maybe they'll attend the next gathering on July 23rd.
When we all met at 9pm (everyone was punctual and I was lucky to get a table immediately) it was still rather hot. But by 10:30pm or so it had cooled off significantly.
After the Cervecería La Plaza, Esperanza, Marisa, and I went to another terraza on the Calle de Santiago, a favorite place of mine on the (mainly) pedestrian street.
We had a very enjoyable evening, ordering patatas bravas and croquetas - and that's all for the food! Later on I thought that we really didn't eat that much and so I bought-n-ate a small-size Kebap while waiting for my "Nocturno" bus home at 12:45am on the Cuesta de San Vicente, facing the side of the Royal Palace.
Looking forward to the next gathering on 23 July!
