Hi, Preferably a hostal or apartment, cheap but clean and nice, also central.
Thanks, Sally

About 40 - 50 euros a night would be ideal.

Sallyanne, I stayed at the Hostal Jaen in April and it was 40 euros/night for a double. (twin beds) It was small and modest, but clean, centrally located and the price was right. MadridMan has a link to it on his Madrid hostels page.

We always stay at Hostal Chelo in Calle Hortaleza.

Silver Traveler, do those two "hostales" have their own websites?
Saludos, MadridMan

Hi, Silver Traveler! I've just checked and don't have either of the aforementioned hostales listed on my Madrid Hostels page. Odd. Saludos, MadridMan
