One more question for the all knowing members of this board:

I am trying to buy tickets on the renfe site, I notice there is a box marked open return. If I click this box does it mean that I will get the roundtrip price but I can select my return departure time on the date of my return? I am planing to make some day trips out from Madrid and I am not sure how long I will want to spend in these other towns, this seems like a good option if I understand it correctly.

Its worth going to Toledo by train just to see the train station

I like the road always, so I have gone by bus to Toledo a couple of times, but again the best is the car ::)

If you do go to Segovia , I´d recommend a place to stay . It´s cheap and simple but has a nice bar . It´s literally 2 steps away from the cathedral square . Don´t expect luxury ! This an hostal .. But I loved it and will be going back soon . It´s clean and central .

Where is the bus station to take the bus to Segovia? It looks like there isn't a train that goes from Madrid to Segovia. Is that correct?
