Hi everyone.

I was looking up hotels in the Barcelona Hotel section. In the past I stayed at the Gran Ducat Hotel but I just check their prices and it was close to 1600USD for 5 nights for two rooms and that is not including breakfast. I found another hotel that includes breakfast and not far from Ramblas and Placa.the price was about 1200.00USD.

Anyone knows anything about Hotel Atlantis. It is about two blocks from Las Ramblas.

Here is the link http://www.hotelatlantis-bcn.com/A01_Presentacion.php?c=1&area=A

Thanks for any imput.

Maybe you should look at hostales and not hotels . At the end of the day , as long as you have a clean , comfortable bed and a private bathroom then thatīs fine . Hostales are much cheaper !

Hi there,

Have you ever though about renting a room for a few nights? Itīs much cheaper and more fun as you will stay with locals. On www.loquo.com you can find a big collection.

Not sure when you are coming, but from time to time I rent out a room as well. We only share the bathroom and kitchen, the house is nicely decorated and clean. And much cheaper than a hotel!

When you are interested, please send me a mail via e_mabel@yahoo.com.

Regards,

Mabel en BCN your place sounds and looks great ! I normally stay at a guesthouse in Poble Nou .. Itīs a specifically gay house Very beautiful and nice .. but I would have no hesitation in recommending your accomodation .. and near Eixample !! Thatīs so central ! Where are you from ? Holland maybe ?
