Jamongris . I have a friend , an ex-client from Switzerland who now runs a great looking guest house in the Black Forest with her husband Klaus .. I´ll ask her for the website .

i went to just outside Baden Baden a few years back, the black forest is beautiful with the hills full of vineyards and trees very unspoilt area with quaint little villages, fantastic views but not a lot going on but if your just travelling then go for it plus your not far from major cities and Munich is a great place to look around, it probably wont interest you Jamongris but the beers great as well

Thanks Steve, I'd be interested.

Billy, I'm going to be doing a bit of trekking and maybe cycling, so the area looks good for that, along with the Bavarian Alps. History wise I'm also hoping to take in Hitlers nest and the war museum there.
You're quite right too, the sausages and beer are of no interest at all smile
