We're traveling in June for 2 weeks. I haven't been to Spain in 20 years so my sense of clothing isn't accurate! I lived there for 3 years while in college. Do teenagers (boy & girl) wear shorts (walking shorts...longer/bermuda style) in the city? We're going to Madrid, Granada, Sevilla and smaller cities in between. What's proper for a 50 year old man? Are walking shorts common now for adults or are they off limits, if my memory serves me correctly. My husband will probably wear docker type pants. Are jeans OK on a 50 year old?! I'm planning on skirts for me...I know better than to wear shorts! We're only spending a couple days on Costa del Sol but I imagine shorts are ok there. We're obviously tourists but I want to be as low key as possible. No wild Hawaiian prints or t-shirts with beer logos for us! Thanks for the advice!
