There is a new exhibit (opened the first weekend in March) in Toledo -- Although the museum is still under construction, it rivals the exhibit of the El Greco masterpieces. The display of the paintings is fantastic and well worth the 1/2 hour trip via the train from Madrid. The paintings have been recreated with the vibrant colors that would have been used by the artist when they were done. It is a MUST for your trip to Madrid/Toleo --- and best of all, there is no admission charge. I was fortunate to be able to view it the first week it opened. By all means, plan to visit it. The museum is located at the top of the new escalators from 'down below'
