can anyone recommend online discount airfare sites....i have checked out easyjet but was hoping to compare prices...my daughter and I are arriving in london on the 6th of september to spend a day or two before we go to madrid for the year....the fare directly to madrid was twice the fare to london... now i must find a fare from london to madrid....does 50.pounds for a one-way sound about right...i am thrilled to be able to explore the city ...any recommendations for kid friendly spots... i dont plan on doing the expected sites but rather a lot of walking to get a feel for the city... any recommended parks...coffee shops ...restaurants (indian, jamaican, etc.)....kid friendly cultural events/attractions...is it possible to rent a stroller ...my daughter is 4 1/2 and her legs tire long before mine....also, can anyone recommend a hostel.....thanks for any thoughts and suggestions

Hi. I am not an expert on London, but we were there for Christmas of 2000 and went with Halcon Viajes . You should be able to find them in internet. They have cheap flights and lodgings (they own Air Europa, a cheap, but good quality, airline). We stayed in Paddington in a B&B type hotel including breakfast and close to subway, buses, etc. They also provided transport to and from the airport. They had several hotels in that area. Get a public transport pass for your two days and you can take the subway and buses all over the place (the Tower of London is fun). Also, most museums are free and some are interesting for kids. There was also a great natural history museum with dinosaur stuff, but it was not free. We have an almost 6 year-old boy (B-day in September), so I am also always looking for kid-friendly stuff to do, see, etc. Good luck.
