I arrive in Madrid at 10pm on 23rd February, and want to overnight before flying down to Malaga .

Anyone have any suggestions for inexpensive accommodation, near the airport, suitable for a 60+ female.

I recently stayed at NH Express Hotel at Barajas airport in Madrid. It was very nice and English was spoken. It cost 75 euros per night in late 04. Their e-mail is exbarajas@nh-hotels.com

There is, of course, a Barajas metro stop, so you can easily ride into the city.
