Im new to Madrid Man but Im not new to Madrid. Im a 21 year old female and have been studying here for 6 months now. Theres something very strange about the summers in madrid, and that is that everyone, well many locals and students leave. I however am staying until the end of july to finish my internship and everyone i know has left or is due to leave. I am totally open to doing all the touristy stuff...who knows when ill be back here, grabbing tapas, discos, dancing botayons, etc. I just need people to go out with. I speak spanish very well and obviously know the area well, so if your interested in meeting me, i could show you around. I'm OUT of Madrid most of July but will be here in August - just when you're leaving. Too bad. thanks for the reply. Actually, I found the board back when I was in Boston in august, but i had forgotten about it til the other day...and that stinks...about the dinner....yes, i saw it but its around late afternoon, which unfortunately coicides with my internship...but ill def keep an eye out.

Well about me. Im 21, female from boston, doing an internship out here til the end of july.Love Madrid and spain in general and want to move out to europe as soon as im done with school. One more year to go...studying at UMASS Amherst.

I will be in Madrid July 28 & 29 prior to leaving for Burgos on July 30 where I will be taking some courses at the university.

arthurg, we will be going thru Burgos on July 30th, so we may see you walking around the cathedral. It will be hard to make plans, since we are just passing thru, but look around for us...and maybe we can have a drink together like we did in Buenos Aires! Have fun in Burgos, it is a really nice town!
