Hey Madridman, I think you should writte a book about your travels to Spain, I remeber that in XIX century travelers from England and France wrote best sellers like "The Bible in Spain".
Spaniards are bumpkins and we like to read about what people think of this country when they visit it.

I'm rarely on the board but was on shortly today and caught your post. You must be estatic to finally be living in Madrid. Hopefully now I'll be able to catch a Madrid Man get-together if they become more frequent.

Look forward to hearing about your adventures as you become a permanent resident of Madrid.....maybe someday it will be me. I'm leaning towards the South (Cadiz).

Woo hoo!!!!! I feel so comfortable walking the streets of Madrid. Really! Before, when just visiting, I always had that dread, that sad feeling that every day took me closer to leaving Spain again - but not now! I walk these streets with total calm and confidence. It's a wonderful change in experience knowing that now when everyday passes it is one more day spent in my Spanish paradise.

MM, I'm so green with envy. My husband asked me yesterday why I was acting strange, a bit quiet, and I had no other reason, but I actually said to him, "because MM is in Madrid and has fulfilled a dream". I am always so happy for those that finally make that dream (to move to Spain) a reality, but, selfishly, I feel a bit down because we are still a long way off from our move. Years, perhaps.
Anyway, MM, spill the beans please, on the juicy details!!!! i know you are a private person, but I think we are all dying to know.
