Finally I am going to New York next 17 of September, as far as I know there are many MadridMan´s forum members living there and surroundings, apart from the tourists that will be there during that month.

First I want to say I'm psyched Mr. Replay is visiting the Big Apple. We will show him a good time.....Bill the date is Sept 17th, 9:00PM. My friend represents a few Spanish restaurants and he's setting something up for us. I'll have more details before weeks end.

Replay is from Madrid, why show him a Spanish restaurant in New York City? Its your call, you are the host but there are great Italian, Chinese, Steak, etc, etc restaurants in New York City we can take Replay to.

I will bring my camera gear to take photos. So anyone who is going can they brush their teeth before dinner!

Street in Little Italy, that's a great area to experience NY, it's like the UN down there.

I would also enjoy joining the group whatever location you decide on. Would we be speaking Spanish or English?

I speak tourist Spanish. I am ashamed to say will be able to say hello, goodbye, ask were is the bathroom and order the coffee in Spanish.

¿Spanish?, no way!, I don´t mind to speak Spanish as well as English, but one of the purposes of my NYC trip is getting a higher level of english, and one of my trainings is seeing the whole Friends DVD series English-English subtitled, so I would love to speak just as the new yorkers do.

But keep slower yourselves please, sometimes your pronuntiation is so far from the words you are talking, I am not used to hear NYC English without subtitles

About the restaurant: I have no special preference, but I prefer something international as the city itself.
