As is common, my office will be shutting down for the majority of August and so I have some holidays to organise. I have spent the last six months learning Spanish and want to continue so do not wish to leave Spain this year.
I was wondering if anyone fancied sharing a hire car for a couple of weeks in August, with the intention of taking a very leisurely trip about the NE of Spain.
My plans are to drive no more than 300-400 km a day mostly on local roads. I hope to discover some nice quiet towns in which just to just relax and enjoy the ambience whilst also spending a few days in Barcelona and down the East coast enjoying the beaches and nightlife. The main thing is never to be in too much of a hurry to get anywhere, if a town really appeals we could stay there for an extra day if not, head out quickly. No fixed plans, no hotel bookings, no pressure.
