I've recently been tuning in to TeleMadrid via the Internet. I must say I'm shocked how biased it is against the socialist government. Every news item seemed to be making some sort of point against the Prime Minister, or strongly criticising government policy. According to TeleMadrid, it seems that under Mr Zapatero the end of Spain as we know it is nigh!

Hi Bricamb! Sorry, but we have a "NO POLITICS" policy here. I nearly had to shut down the message board at one time because of the hostility it yields, nearly turning our travel board into a political venting post. Please refrain. Thanks for understanding.

Yes! I like that program too! It's called Taxi, Taxi . It's a good way to learn or test your knowledge of Madrid (and Spain, I think) while testing your level of Spanish. It's very entertaining.

I love Telemadrid. The programs they have are in my opinion the best of all public TV stations in Spain. MADRID DIRECTO for example has been so good that even TVE1 has adapted its own version ESPAÑA DIRECTO.

Bfffff...for me it is REALLY HARD not to complain about what Telemadrid has become in the last four years, but I have to respect what MadridMan says about politics in this forum. But yes, TeleMadrid is unique, not only in Spain but also in Europe. It is not very easy to find din Europe channels with characters like Sanchez Dragó, and...

And every morning - like RIGHT NOW - I try to watch the morning program from 9:30 to about 11:30am. When I say watch I mean I have it on the TV behind me while I work and I'll spin my head around when something sounds interesting.
