I just found out about the Spanish Cinema festival at the Walter Reade theatre here in NYC Dec. 6-26. There are many movies featured and you can read about them and the schedule of events here Here is a list of some of the movies : Luis Marias, El caballero de Don Quijote,Salomé, 800 balas, Intacto, La comunidad, Rencor, Octavia, Acción Mutante, Día de la Bestia,Guerreros, Poniente, Smoking room, El embrujo de Shanghai, Sola mía,La guerilla de la memoria, Perdita Durango, Muertos de risa, El alquemista impaciente, Deseo, La novia de Lázaro, and a series of shortfilms here There are many more films included. It sounds WONDERFUL...In the past it has been very good. Oh, BTW does anyone know anything worthwhile about any of these films? Are any of them movies that cannot be missed? Are there any that would be particularly good to recommend to high school kids? Thanks :p
