This is just a recommendation for this wonderful Flamenco guitarist for lovers of Spanish music (or indeed, good music in general) who may not have come across him. I have two of his CDs, Vivencias Imaginadas, and Ciudad de las Ideas (the latter is dedicated to Cordoba, his home town, the "City of Ideas" of the title). Both are superb and have both "traditional" and more modern, jazz-tinged flamenco. The "jazzy" stuff really works well - and I say this as someone who generally prefers "pure" flamenco. Vicente Amigo really seems to have found a way of taking flamenco forward without it's sprit being lost in the process.

(Note from MadridMan: El Boqueron, sorry, I edited the URLs to your Amazon selections as they reflected someone's affiliate IDs and we can't have that. Sorry. So I've inserted the direct URL -- and FYI, I did not insert my own affiliate ID into the URL (that would be wrong), but if anyone uses Amazon.com feel free to click-through to Amazon on any of links on www.MadridMan.com . Thanks!)
