I *loved* this song when I was in Spain and recently found out the name is "Bomba" but I have no idea who the artist is...can anyone help me? I can't get it out of my mind!!!

I thought it was by King Africa, but I could be wrong. Everywhere you went last year you could hear it and even I started swaying in time - I use the term loosely - to the beat "Booooooo-mba.... Sensual, un movimiento muy sexy......."

There are two versions of La Bomba. The original one (song by the group Esperanza said) and a newer version song by King Africa which was very popular last summer.

I love this song too, and after my trip last week I have found some new favorites. I figured I'd put them here since they are the same type of catchy Spanish pop songs.

I don't know the artists because they are on a compilation CD with non-original artists. But a great CD nonetheless, called Caribe 2001 (actually a set of 4... I have the 2000 edition too, which contains Bomba)

Majesty318 - thank you for posting those songs - I am always on the lookout for good spanish songs to play (and I am not as resourceful as Fernando so I have to be sure it is good when I buy it) I hope everyone feels free to post songs that they think others will enjoy.
