Dear Everybody,
I have a 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier, whom I love dearly, he is who I will miss the most while I am visiting Spain. I want to take him with me next time I go, is this possible?
Do they allow pets from the U.S.? Hope all is well with everyone

Check out the Spanish Embassy info on pets: http://www.mapausa.org/Viaje/Animal/main.htm. It appears fairly uncomplicated, but you/your vet have to use their health certificate form and an owner's certification. The issue may be more in dealing with the airlines. Most U.S. carriers now have an embargo on animals during most of the summer and only limited space. We have flown four times with our dog on international flights (United, American and Lufthansa) either to or from the U.S. and the limitations have been getting longer. This summer when we move to Spain I will be driving (of course that's not an option from the U.S.) to spare our 10 year old welsh terrier two transatlantic flights.
