No problem on a meeting place. We'd let Puna decide, then we'd all pile on a train, head down to Anchovy's and sack out there. It's kind of a "gathering place." You could call it a flop house if you'd like - Puna and I already have dibs on the couch, and the master bedroom. Anchovy puts his Mom out on the lawn in a tent when we show up, and makes one of his kids sleep outside on a lawn chair-----

Oi...!! What's going on here?? I go away for a few days and when I get back that bounder Wolf has drawn up plans for a summit meeting of MM board members at my house!! The nerve of the fellow... damned cheek... splutter... should be given a good horsewhipping... pah!!

Actually, what a good idea! I've already thrown the old girl out into the garden in anticipation.... San Miguels in the fridge (he says that it's blooming cold in there and not much room because of all the bottles of beer!)

As the superb host you are - Wolf and I will forego any and all arguements on couch vs. extra bedroom. We can swap places every few days. :p

As I recall, there's a great hostel in the square that would be ideal for participating board members - perhaps you could arrange a package deal with the owner? (If I post the name of said hostel - can I get credit w/ the owner as their public relations person? Same old stuff - any way to work legally in Spain )

You and Mrs. Front will be happy to know that all board members will behave properly in public and promise to not be an embarrassement to the Front family tradition!

I had a MadridMan Epiphany this weekend as I was shaking hands with the opposing team after our ice hockey game.

I spent the third period dishing out hits and taking cheap shots...even landing in the sin bin, two for slashing [I was framed], but still shook hands, told all the other guys "you earned it" and "good job"...heck, I would've gone to dinner with them had they invited me.

My point is that Wolf is right, heated debate is fine, and I don't [try not to] take any other opinions as personal. Heck, for most of us, if we ever [heaven forbid] drop off the message board, no one will notice after a while, and we won't know the difference either.

The bottom line is, we're all here now, and healthy...er...heated debate is fine with me, as it looks to be with all of you.

Please pass the paella.
