at last i have booked flights to madrid,december 10th for 3 days,can't wait.is it christmassy!! at that time of year ie. decorations and stuff.how late can i leave it to book accomadation.We are going midweek is there still plenty of nightlife?.Any info anyone can give me about madrid at this time of year i would be grateful.Im so excited!!!!!!!!

Madrid is fantastic in December. Christmas is coming and the city does look beautiful when it's decorated. I've only been in late December so I think some others can tell you if all the decorations will be up.

Anyway, I think you'll love it. The city seemed more alive when I was there during that time of year.
