Although the location (right near the plaza) is good, the hostal is more than a little worn with small rooms and a tiny bathroom. Windows are not screened (and, of course, there's no air conditioning) so mosquitos were a problem at night. Although the propietor was friendly, the desk clerk was cranky! He generally chose to ignore us as we were coming and going. All in all, Hostal La Malagueña was a bit too modest for us.
