En comunicarme con la RENFE en cuanto a dejando equipaje en la estacion, ellos usaron la palabra "consignas". Que es en ingles: Locker, or storeroom? Espero que sus consignas sean suficiente grandes para mis maletas grandes! Gracias.

What you ask is quite tricky; in my view, if they used the plural, consignas, they meant lockers; but if they said consigna, that would be the storeroom ¿¿?? Do you need any specific info from RENFE that maybe I could help you with?

Thanks for your offer, Pim! I've had answers saying the probability is "storeroom" which would be perfect as 4 of us will be travelling with our big overseas suitcases. However, one of the respondents at RENFE used consignas in the plural which could imply lockers. Puedes esperar utilizar "lockers" cuando ves "consignas". Y las hay suficiente grandes para maletas y maletonas. ¡Buen viaje!

Actually it depends on the specific station.I Big stations will have both, some others only lockers, and some of them won't have facilities. It depends...
