Has anyone had an experience with buying wine or perfume in an airport? How are the new regulations regarding taking liquids and gels on a plane affecting duty free sales? Do they let you check it from the duty free store?

Not from Spain to the U.S., but last week, on a trip from Mexico City to the U.S., my father bought two bottles of wine at the duty free store. He was told the flight attendant would give him the merchandise at the end of the trip. Once he landed in the U.S., the flight crew knew nothing about his wine...He was going to try to get his money back, but I don't know if he did.

So I suppose that is the new regulation, you pay at the store, you get your products once you get off the plane....if they don't forget to place your order!
