Hey fellow posters: I'll be in Madrid in March and would like to pick up some quality apparel from some of the soccer squads in primera.

Any suggestions as to where to go? I don't want phony tourist crap from Corte Inglés...preferably from a specialty shop. Authentics or warmups [sweatshirts, etc.] are all good.

If you go to the sports floor of Corte Ingles, you can find the authentic stuff that you're looking for and they usually have a good selection of teams from all over Spain, along with the ubiquitous Real Madrid paraphenalia. Also, I know there are plenty of sports stores in Madrid. The only one I can recall right now is on Calle Arenal just off of Puerta del Sol heading towards Plaza de Oriente. I think it's called InterSport. Have fun shopping!

The official "Real Madrid" shop is on c/Tetuan, very near El Corte Ingles. You can't get much more 'real' than that!
