I am moving to Barcelona in mid August and I was wondering if there was any collective wisdom out there about buying a car in Spain (particularly Barcelona).

What are the good classified listings/websites where I can find used cars? Can I get something decent for less than 4000 euros? How do I find out info about taxes and insurance?

Do you or will you have a residency card? You will need that and a driver licence, a Spanish one, to get insurance as well.
