Due to the insighfu; recommendations on this site, I will not pack my curling iron and hairdryer for my trip to Madrid in June. I will purchase them there. Does anyone know where I should purchase these two items for a reasonable or even discount price? Thanks. confused

My recommendation: On a big store like Carrefour , Alcampo (same website - same company), ... or a specialized shop (Tien 21, ...).

Anyway, with the dollar with such prices you will find this two items reeaaaaaaally cheap.

Best regards.

Fernando

Depending on how thrifty you want to be, you can also buy small electrodomestics at one of the many second hand stores. There are at least 3-4 of them on Bravo Murillo in Madrid. I don´t know the names of them at this moment...perhaps someone else on the board does?

When I have entered these stores I noticed that there were used and new items (usually overruns) for sale at excellent prices.

Hi 'Cata',

Just a comment on curling irons.
Don't be surprised to not find as much variety as you may find in the US. Here, women don't use them as much by far.

Enjoy your trip!

Cata - I bought a hairdyer last year (as someone had borrowed and then lost my other one)- at El Cortes Inglés - $13 US.
